The SAVE America Act

The SAVE America Act (H.R. 7296) passed the U.S. House on February 11, 2026. It would require all voter registration applicants to provide documentary proof of U.S. citizenship : passport or birth certificate, for example, and impose strict photo ID requirements to vote in federal elections.
